We had a very excited first grader this week.
We also had visitors this week. My aunt and uncle-who have this biking/traveling lifestyle that Robb and I aspire to recreate someday-came to visit and we had a whirlwind of a couple of days. I think they experienced a lot of the good things our little pocket of the world has to offer.
We hiked to the magic tree. It lives on top of the world and smells like vanilla.
Yes, I smell it. And I make other people smell it too.
We went to Boulder and ate wonderful food at The Kitchen [Next Door].
The kids played in the fountains on Pearl Street.
Unfortunately, when my daughter runs she looks just like Phoebe from that episode of Friends. Poor little thing. We do have high hopes that she will get more coordinated with time.
We watched Grayson play soccer and then went to Salto in Nederland for pizza night. This is like going to the best party ever with all of our friends where we don’t have to cook or clean up.
And then yesterday morning we walked Grayson down the hill and put him on the bus.
And now Nora is napping.
And it is quiet.
Holy crap is it quiet.
